Because they're less/not Westenized. Asians from Asia only had their own race to date from the beginning, so it's traditional. Even in "diverse" Western countries, majority of the people still only date/marry their own race. While it's easy to say "soul has no color" today, the concept of interracial dating wasn't acceptable to Western society until less than 100 years ago. As late as 1958, half of the states in the US had laws against interracial marriage. So dating their own race is not a weird concept Asians invented. They're just slightly behind in terms of social progress.

I've been told it's mostly because they are afraid of going against their families. Mainly their parents.

I am attracted to black girls I dated two before, although, both are half-White, but it still counts, right? haha
also, I was crushing bad on this one black girl in my college before, she was dark, compared to two I dated, but she just had that appeal that made her so attractive, and her lips was rocking

I often think asian guys don't like me because of my race, now I want to hear you thoughts.

I had three black women come to my meetups in Sydney, Australia over the last 5-6 months. Amazing as Sydney has few blacks outside certain areas or suburbs which I don't frequent at all.

2 were quite attractive, and I would have considered going for them if they weren't here in Australia for a really short term period.

I just don't see them around though to have ever dated one. And I end up dating white or Asian.
